Rylan Clark admits he’s always on ‘edge’ filming Gogglebox with his mum as he returns after year off | The Sun

RYLAN Clark has admitted he is always on edge filming Gogglebox with his mum because he never knows what she might say.

The 33-year-old is returning to the sofa alongside Linda after taking a year off due to health issues and is “ready and raring to go.”

Speaking to The Sun about doing the show alongside his mum, Rylan shared: “It’s the easiest job in the world but also the most worrying because I don’t know what is going to come out of her mouth.

“I can literally sit there and do f*** all and she just does it, which is great. She has no idea she’s even doing it.

“That is what makes it work with her, that is why people love her. I am always there thinking ‘what the f*** is going to come out of her mouth?’”

He went on to say how at times he forgets he’s being filmed, but loves doing the show.

“You do forget they (the cameras) are there, which is a bit of worry, my mum feels comfortable because we are literally sat in my kitchen,” he said.

“The team is great. Gogglebox have always been great with her so it’s always so lovely to be a part of it. I was gutted I couldn’t be part of it last year because I wasn’t too well. But I am thrilled to be back this year.”

The pair took time off from the show due to Linda’s struggle with Crohn’s disease, but he tells us she is in a “good place”.

They also took a break from the show in 2021 when Rylan decided to take a step back from the limelight following the breakdown of his marriage to Dan Neal.

Celebrity Gogglebox returns tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm
