Stacey Solomon reveals work has FINALLY started on living room as she shows off start of transformation

STACEY Solomon has revealed she has finally started work on her front room.

The 32-year-old moved into the gorgeous £1.2 million Pickle Cottage in April of this year and has been slowly doing it up.

Work ground to a halt recently as she gave birth to her daughter Rose, but today she revealed that progress is once again being made.

The front room previously featured an old fashioned carpet and built in shelving beside a wood burner.

Stacey has now completely transformed the space – thanks to putting down some wood flooring and painting the room.

She told her followers the next job was the fire place, the units and the all-important furniture.

The star was delighted to discover that one of the walls was in fact a boarded up window to the kitchen.

She excitedly told her followers: “I don’t know why I want to live in real life Harry Potter world but I do. I really want to knock this through and make a secret door to the kitchen where you can pull a secret book and it opens.”

Since moving into the home, Stacey has been documenting the renovations for her followers – starting with the kids’ bedrooms.

Meanwhile, Stacey has already starting decorating the family home for Christmas – seven weeks early.

The Loose Women presenter – who is engaged to Joe Swash – revealed:  "So excited for our first Christmas at pickle cottage and our first Christmas with our darling Rose."

Rose is Stacey's fourth child, with the star also mum to 13-year-old Zachary, nine-year-old Leighton, and two-year-old Rex.
