Loose Women panellist Judi Love has opened up about her time on Strictly Come Dancing where she was partnered with professional dancer, Graziano Di Prima. The comedian, who was eliminated from the BBC competition after landing in the bottom two, will appear on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday. Judi will also be joined by guests Sir Elton John, Michelle Keegan, Rob Brydon, and musical guests Craig David and MNEK.
During the chat with host Jonathan, Judi recalled what it was like to perform at The Royal Variety Show in front of the Royal Family.
The presenter admitted she had to clean up her material for the performance.
“I was like, do they know who’ve they’ve booked?” Judi joked. “It was such an amazing feeling.
“I had to kind of clean that up a bit [my material]… I wasn’t allowed to say the word gynaecologist. I don’t know [why].”
Speaking about meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton, Judi said she had to apologise to Kate after she made a joke about the Prime Minister.
She continued: “William is cute you know.
“Kate you’re lucky… I was talking to him about Boris. I was cussing out Boris. My Boris joke he really liked it.
“I was telling him he was slick and he looked good. Kate, she’s so stunning, so naturally beautiful.”
Judi added: “I kept calling her darling. I said, ‘So sorry sweetheart…’ But she was like, ‘It’s okay.'”
Rob Brydon also spoke about his experience of meeting the Royals and bowing to the Queen.
He said: “She’s walking along our line. What do you do? I bowed.
“I think with royals you’re meant to nod, but I did a proper Royal Shakespeare Company full bow, it’s not good.”
Judi and Graziano were eliminated from Strictly during Halloween week after landing in the bottom two with Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.
Speaking about her favourite moment on the show, the mum-of-two laughed: “You can’t tell? It was twerking my a*** on BBC.
“It was unbelievable. Just being glammed up every week and working with someone who is so passionate about what they do.
“I didn’t get a bad choice, did I? I was dribbling.”
Joking about the show’s so-called Strictly curse, Judi joked: “I was ready – I was banking on it.
“It’s not until you’re in it that you realise how intimate you are with your partner.”
The ITV host went on to joke it was the costume department who should be discussed among the curse.
“I was so intimate with them,” Judi laughed.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday at 10.30pm on ITV.
