Strictly icons Ellie and Johannes are dancing to Casualty theme tune this week

The music for this week’s Strictly Come Dancing will be a bit different than normal, as the remaining couples will be dancing to songs from BBC shows – and it’s Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe we’re most excited about.

Why? Because they’re piece of music is the Casualty theme tune.

To coincide with the 100th anniversary of the BBC, we’ll be thrown back to the days of Grange Hill when Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu dance their Couple’s Choice, and of course James Bye will be dancing to the EastEnders opening theme.

For Ellie and Johannes, they will be putting their Tango faces on for the dramatic opening of Casualty – something that’s changed a lot over the years.

To be honest, we’ve got quite a few questions.

Stethoscopes around their necks covered in sequins?

And what about the Casualty cast – could we see some familiar faces pop up in the VT to give Ellie and Johannes some tips?

Ellie and Johannes’ journey on the show has been a rollercoaster so far.

Last week, they spent the day at the farm (just taking the opportunity to highlight Johannes’ countryside outfit, thanks) and performed a stunning Waltz to Boom Bang A Bang by Lulu.

If last week’s truly iconic trip to the country and brilliant dance was anything to go by, one thing is for certain…

It’s a ten from us already.
