The Chase fans cringe after Bradley Wiggins makes major blunder with the Chasers in awkward moment | The Sun
VIEWERS of The Chase were left cringing as cycling legend Bradley Wiggins made a series of blunders during his appearance on the Christmas special of the programme.
The festivities were underway on the ITV quizzing game as Bradley Walsh welcomed four famous faces for the annual Christmas special of the popular show.
Amongst the celebrity players were TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya, actress Vicki Michelle, Paralympian Kadeena Cox and cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins.
However despite putting in a performance with his general knowledge, Bradley Wiggins fell flat when it came to his knowledge of the show he was appearing on and its stars.
In an awkward blunder, Bradley revealed he was not aware of any of the Chasers who have achieved fame from appearing on the long-running programme.
As host Bradley Walsh asked him which of the celebrity quizzers he would like to play against, the Olympian squirmed as he said: "I don't know their names. I know the guy with the cowboy thing."

It appeared the star was referring to the newest star of the show, Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis.
Walsh pressed him further as he asked: "Darragh?," to which Bradley replied: "Yeah, he looks pretty cool."
As it became clear that he was unsure in his comments, the host directly asked him: "You actually haven't watched this show, have you?"
The sportsman admitted: "No, I haven't."

As well as managing to escape the show and its quizzing stars, it appeared that Bradley's knowledge of television was lacking overall as he went on to question if Walsh was still acting in soap Coronation Street during his cringe-inducing appearance on the programme.
The presenter was left flabbergasted, having left the role in 2006 and appeared to become slightly irate with Wiggins.
As well as his fumbles about the show, the cycling star also accused host Bradley of 'putting him off' in another tense moment which once again left the host open-mouthed as he defiantly raged: "I'm on your side!"
Despite the many awkward moments, Wiggins made it to the final chase alongside Vicki and Radzi.
However Jenny Ryan was quick on the mark and as exceptional as ever as she took the players score of 16 out with 35 seconds to spare.
