The Chase viewers all have the same complaint as contestant is annihilated by Anne Hegerty | The Sun
THE Chase viewers all had the same complaint after a contestant was annihilated by Anne Hegerty.
Wednesday's episode of The Chase saw Penny from Sunderland face off against The Governess.
Penny had managed to secure £2,000 in her Cash Builder before facing Anne at the table.
However, Penny got off on the wrong foot with viewers at home after deciding to accept Anne's low offer.
One furious viewer tweeted: "Low offer and all round terrible player, good riddance Penny #TheChase".
Another added: "Can u imagine going through the application process, beating thousands of other applicants , once in a lifetime opportunity just to play for £500 #TheChase."

But once the head-to-head got started, some viewers realised Penny may have made the right decision, as they criticised how difficult her questions were.
One question she faced was how many pieces of wood are needed to make a single violin?
Her options were 20, 50 or 70 and she incorrectly chose 20, with the correct answer being 70.
Taking to Twitter again, one fan wrote: "I’m sorry but, these questions are harsh…I’ve only just tuned in to see Penny on so no idea what the others were like but, they were tough! #TheChase."
