The Internet’s Reactions to the ‘KUWTK’ Cheating Episode Are Mixed

Guys, it finally happened: Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired its highly-anticipated episode delving into Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods’ cheating scandal.

The episode featured details regarding the night the NBA star and the model locked lips at a party back in February. Khloé Kardashian explained in a voiceover that Thompson had some friends in town for All-Star Weekend and rented a house through Airbnb for the occasion. At some point, he threw a party, where he and Woods shared a kiss.

When confronted, Thompson seemingly tried to manipulate the situation and threatened to kill himself, which was just… a lot.

As you can imagine, Twitter had something to say about the episode.

Some social media users extended love to Khloé Kardashian

Thompson had already allegedly cheated on Kardashian in 2018 while she was pregnant with their daughter, True. So it was hard to watch the reality star go through another scandal with someone so close.

A sneak peak of the second part of the episode shows Kardashian totally breaking down over the ordeal, which she said ruined the relationship.

Some viewers sided with Jordyn Woods

A few Twitter users said that Kardashian got a dose of karma, referencing rumors that she began her relationship with Thompson while he was dating entrepreneur Jordan Craig, the mother of his son, Prince.

Craig claimed in court documents released in June that Thompson did in fact cheat with the reality star. “Their relationship went viral and everything took a turn for the worst,” read the documents.

“Every day several articles were published worldwide mocking my new unfortunate reality and my pregnancy would now become one of the most popular gossip headlines due to the woman Tristan was now publicly dating during my pregnancy,” the documents continued.

For her part, Kardashian claimed Thompson said the relationship was over when they started dating. However, she apologized if that wasn’t the case.

“Truthfully, from the deepest parts of my soul, I am sorry! I’m sorry for any pain that has been created either way. No woman deserves to go through anything like this! This is MY TRUTH,” she wrote on Instagram.

Did Jordyn Woods lie about the cheating scandal?

Viewers had questions, considering the episode didn’t exactly align with comments Woods made on Red Table Talk.

While speaking on Jada Pinkett Smith’s show back in March, the model said the Thompson only gave her a “peck” on the lips. However, Thompson said on KUWTK that he and Woods made out.

Some people were appalled that Woods had seemingly lied, on top of everything else.

Viewers sounded off on other Kardashians

Khloé Kardashian isn’t the only one who caught backlash over the episode. Some viewers weren’t happy with the way the Kardashian sisters spoke about Woods.

At one point in the episode, Kim Kardashian went on a rant about how Kylie Jenner gave Woods a platform to make money only for Woods to “disrespect” the family. That was a little extra to some viewers — and they didn’t waste any time calling Kim out over it.

The scandal is a sensitive issue, so lots of emotions are flowing. Perhaps they’ll all start to move forward in time.
