The Masked Singer fans were stunned after Sausage beat Badger to win series 2 of the hit show.

Minutes later, Sausage was unmasked as Grammy Award winner Joss Stone.

While Joss' name was in the mix by eagle-eyed fans over the past few weeks, Sausage has been one of the hardest contestants to guess throughout the second series.

Talking about keeping her identity a secret, Joss said: "Very hard. People around me were constantly trying to guess what I was doing in these weeks.

"Some people even got mad because I wouldn’t tell them. It’s really been quite funny how crazy people get when you keep secrets from them. Madness! "

She added of filming: "I felt like I was an undercover agent or something. It’s fun because you know any minute you could be unmasked and surprise everyone."

During the final of the hit ITV show, Sausage made it through to the final two alongside Badger.

"I have won an award which sounds like it is hammy," was Sausage's final clue.

This was immediately jumped on by the judges who think it meant the star has won a Grammy Award.

"I don't mind speaking my own mind and following my own path, but ultimately I love a bit of the simple life.

"I don't need a glam party, I'm very happy with a couple of beers and a bag of potato snacks.

"I'm equally at ease with a night in at home, you'll most likely find me with a hammer and set of nails, because I love a bit of DIY."

In week three the kooky constant confirmed they have worn a mask of some kind before in their line of work.

"I do enjoy hiding my face behind this mask, although its not the first time i've made sure you can't see my face in my work," Sausage.

The playful star added: "Tonight the chips are down, and I'm just hoping I can cut the mustard."
