This Morning's Friday presenters revealed after Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's feud | The Sun

THIS Morning's Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will host the show together on Friday after Phillip Schofield's shock exit from the programme.

Mainstay Holly Willoughby, 42, has been given two weeks off and will return on June 5 without Phillip.

Alison stepped in and presented This Morning with Dermot on Monday and Tuesday, and Craig Doyle on Wednesday and Thursday.

A show source has confirmed Alison and Dermot, who usually host on Fridays and have both been tipped to permanently replace Phil to become Holly's new co-host, will team up once more to end the week.

The pair addressed Phillip's abrupt departure head on after he announced he was stepping down on Saturday afternoon amid his ongoing feud with Holly.

Alison said as she kicked off Monday's This Morning: "We can't start the show without paying tribute to the man who spent the last two decades sitting on the This Morning sofa.

"Quite simply, we all know he's one of the best live television broadcasters this country has ever had and we and all the team wish him all the best."

Dermot added: "As a show, everyone on and off screen want to say a huge thank you to Phil for what he's done to make the show a success over the last 21 years."

The Sun revealed Phillip was “completely broken” from his This Morning exit.

He will get six months’ wages to soften the blow after ITV decided his feud with Holly was losing too many viewers.
