Top Boy fans convinced they've already rumbled major season 2 death after 'giveaway clue' in new trailer
TOP Boy fans are convinced that they've already rumbled a major season two death after one "giveaway clue" in the brand new trailer.
After three long years, fans of TV show finally don't have to wait much longer.
The new trailer to the highly-anticipated series finally dropped last night- and it looks like Dushane's dodgy dealings are about to get another character killed.
During the two-minute clip, Dushane (Ashley Walters) asks former nemesis Jamie (Micheal Ward) to help him expand his drug empire to Spain and Morocco.
Moments later a vigil placed outside Summerhouse estate is seen on our screens – and it looks like it's in tribute to 13-year-old Ats (Keiyon Cook).
As Dushane says: "You can’t have people come on the block, stab one of our youngers," Ats' best mate Stef can be seen walking away from the tribute in pieces.
Many fans rushed to Twitter to speculate.
One wrote: "So Ats died in Top Boy," with a crying emoji.
Another said: "I’m excited for the new season of Top Boy HOWEVER if they’ve killed off Ats like I think they have I’m gonna be so upset. Was Jase not enough?!"
A third chimed in: "wait they’ve acc killed off ats in top boy :/."
"Seen the Top Boy trailer and it’s looking like they killed off my boy Ats," a fourth chimed in.
This isn't the first time the show have killed off a number of a much-loved character.
Fans were left heartbroken when Jason (Ricky Smarts) was burnt to death in a house fire in season three, Michael (Xavien Russell) was thrown off a balcony by an Albanian gangster in 2013 and Leon (Nicholas Pinnock) was shot in season one.
Meanwhile others could barely contain their excitement after watching the new trailer.

The crime drama last streamed in the final quarter of 2019, as production was put on hold when coronavirus struck the TV industry.
However, fans were relieved when star Walters revealed that filming had finally kicked off in December 2020.
Along with Walters and Ward, Kane Robinson will return for the next instalment, as well as most of the cast from series 3, including Little Simz, Jolade Obasola, Hope Ikpoku, and Araloylin Oshunremi.
Newcomers Josephine De La Baume, Howard Charles, Ava Brennan, Erin Kellyman, ‘NoLay’ and Adwoa Aboah will no doubt impress Netflix subscribers.
Top Boy – created by Ronan Bennett – premiered in 2011 on Channel 4.
It was followed by a second series two years later.
Although Netflix is calling it season two, it is actually the fourth offering in the series.
