Comedian and Loose Women panellist Judi Love was the latest Strictly celebrity to receive a positive COVID-19 test. The first was McFly singer Tom Fletcher who previously had to take a brief step back from the competition. Her test result, unfortunately, meant she couldn’t perform in week five and now fans of the BBC reality series want to know if and when she will return.

Will Judi Love be back on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend?

Prior to contracting coronavirus, Judi had a rough couple of weeks on Strictly Come Dancing.

She was in the bottom two during Movie Week after her Charleston to a musical number from Chicago failed to impress the public and judges.

Judi just about scraped through with former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn and her partner Gorka Marquez being sent home.

This was the first of two dance-offs Judi had to endure as she and Graziano Di Prima remained in the bottom two the following week.

They were once again saved by the judges who chose Judi over actor Greg Wise and Karen Hauer.

Judi received a positive COVID-19 test result just a few days before Strictly aired on Saturday, October 23.

Many fans assumed that she would be back this week after Tom and partner Amy Dowden came back fighting after their tests.

However, it isn’t looking good for the comedian as she has expressed how she has had a “rough” few days on Instagram.

While the BBC has not yet confirmed if she will be back this weekend, from Judi’s reaction, a comeback may not be on the cards after all.

During an Instagram Live video, Judi candidly explained: “I don’t even know what day it is.

“Some kind of motivation day. I just want to say to you guys, ‘Rona is real.

“I give thanks that I was doing a little exercise and dancing thing.

“I feel like I’m handling it much better than I would have had if I hadn’t been doing a little exercise and a little sweat.”

Judi continued: “It’s been a rough couple of days and it’s really about for you to get your health in order.

“Health is wealth, and I’m not just talking about catching that cheque. I just mean having that health so you can live at your optimum.”

If she isn’t able to recover before the weekend, there could be a chance Judi and Graziano will be forced to pull out of the competition.

She isn’t the first celebrity whose health has got in the way of them taking part in this year’s Strictly.

As well as Tom getting a positive COVID-19 result, former England rugby player Ugo Monye had to have a week off because of an ongoing back injury.

He was voted out of the competition in week five when the judges unanimously voted to keep CBBC star Rhys Stephenson in the show.

Meanwhile, comedian Robert Webb had to leave due to a heart condition.

Strictly Come Dancing will return on Saturday, October 30, at 7.10pm on BBC One.
