So, it&#8217;s no surprise that the actor might be rethinking some things after his recovery. <\/p>\n<p>\nMost recently, sources indicated that the health scare may have totally changed his outlook on dating. &#8220;Nearly dying has really woken him up to his own mortality,&#8221; a source told <em>National Enquirer<\/em>, per <em>RadarOnline<\/em>. &#8220;Now he&#8217;s very aware it could all end in an instant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nWith such a heightened awareness of life, his budding new relationship, with Alyce Huckstepp, has taken a new form. &#8220;He&#8217;s started saying he wants to settle down,&#8221; the source added of the couple, who first sparked dating rumors in August. <\/p>\n<p>\nPrior to Foxx&#8217;s change of heart, the actor was reportedly quite resistant to the idea of settling down and tying the knot. In August, sources told&nbsp;<em>National Enquirer<\/em> that the <em>Django Unchained <\/em>star was even reconsidering his relationship with Holmes. <\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;Jamie has dated scores of beautiful women in his life, but none came close to matching what he had with Katie,&#8221; the source said at the time. &ldquo;Their chemistry was off the charts.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n&ldquo;It was a romance born of passion but became so much more,&rdquo; the source continued. &ldquo;In hindsight, Jamie can&rsquo;t believe he let her slip through his fingers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nAlthough we don&#8217;t know if anything happened between Foxx and Holmes since then, it&#8217;s fair to say those questions are behind him now that he has a new girlfriend.
