Piers Morgan has revealed the specific reason he turned down Strictly Come Dancing.<\/p>\n
The Uncensored host claimed BBC bosses offered him a stint on the 2022 series, which was won by wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin.<\/p>\n
This year, the likes of Les Dennis, Love Island\u2019s Zara McDermott and EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier have taken to the dancefloor in the hopes of impressing judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood.<\/p>\n
But Piers has given his strict reason for not joining them.<\/p>\n
The 58 year old said: \u2018Strictly asked me last year. There wasn\u2019t enough money.<\/p>\n
\u2018If you want me to humiliate myself on a dance floor, I was offered $150,000 by\u00a0Dancing With The Stars\u00a0in America when I was doing America\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n

\u2018And I said, \u201cCome back to me if it\u2019s $1.2million.\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n
That salary might be out of the BBC\u2019s reach though, as he added to The Sun: \u2018They haven\u2019t come back yet.\u2019<\/p>\n
When asked if he would reconsider the Beeb\u2019s offer, the former Good Morning Britain host joked that he wouldn\u2019t want to put the other celebs up against him \u2018under that kind of pressure\u2019.<\/p>\n
Strictly isn\u2019t the only reality competition Piers has turned down, as he last year rejected Ant McPartlin\u00a0and\u00a0Declan Donnelly\u2019s cheeky request to \u2018eat balls\u2019 on\u00a0I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!<\/p>\n

The previous series saw the likes of former health secretary\u00a0Matt Hancock, pop icon\u00a0Boy George\u00a0and the camp\u2019s first ever royal\u00a0Mike Tindall\u00a0have headed into the jungle, joining Lioness\u00a0Jill Scott\u00a0and\u00a0Loose Women\u00a0star\u00a0Charlene White.<\/p>\n
But before the stars had even headed into the jungle, Ant and Dec invited Piers on, to which he had a pretty blunt reply.<\/p>\n
