Carol Vorderman wows in figure-hugging dress at Hollyoaks stars wedding

Carol Vorderman stunned as she attended the wedding of her Radio Wales co-host, former Hollyoaks star Nathan Sussex.

The former Countdown host, 62, shared some snaps of the event, in which she sported a figure-hugging sequined green maxi dress.

Carol shared some mirror selfies before the wedding ceremony and some snaps of the wedding reception, where she sat in a group with her pal BBC Radio 2 DJ Owain Wyn Evans.

She shared the snaps to her Instagram page, where she penned the caption: "

Present and correct for the wedding of the year….our Nathan @natsus1 marrying his Jamie…..tears from all of us and a lot of amazing surprises [four heart emojis]"

She continued: "With mein CYNTAFFFFFF dahhhhhhlinggg @owainwynevans and his Arran….our superman producer Paul and our beautiful @bridgec_3 [heart emoji] [black flag emoji].

"Nathan and Jamie are so in love, wish the two of you every happiness in the world. Wonderful….more pics follow [heart emoji]."

And posting to her Instagram Story, she joked: "Love a wedding as long as it isn't mine obvs [laughing emoji]."

Commenters were quick to compliment the star, with Loose Women panellist Katie Piper leading the way with: "Love this dress [yellow emoji]"

Another Instagram user commented: "You look so very lovely as, always. [red heart emoji] The dress I very beautiful and you do look photogenic as always.

"I do hope you had a cracking good time. Have a most lovely day, and thanks for sharing [two heart-eye emojis]" While a third added: "You look absolutely amazing, this lady has class with a capital C"

It comes after Carol revealed that her lookalike daughter Katie is currently training to become an analog astronaut.

Earlier this year the proud mum posted a clip of her daughter Katie, 32, arriving for training.

Explaining exactly what her time at the training centre will involve, Katie said: "We are day one of training and we're at Astroland for some of our training, we've had medical training, we have all these wearables that we have to wear to look at our heart rate, our breathing, that we have to wear 24/7."

She continued “And, there's this camera that assesses your emotional state by recognising your face so they're constantly monitoring our emotional response to things.

"There's also something to measure our skin to see our stress levels which will be interesting so when they simulate emergencies they can see how our bodies are physically responding which is pretty damn cool."
