‘Well, asking about your sex life in your 30s was fine, but I think in your 60s is a bit creepy. So things had to change.’
Speaking on how comedy has changed throughout time, Graham added: ‘You deal with big stars at the top on their game these days, so you have to be a bit more careful with what you say.’
When Holly asked him if it’s hard to choose who is going to sit with who on certain episodes, the Irish star joked: ‘On your good days, you think of that.’
‘But on the bad days, you’ll just be like ‘Here it is’. But you try to kind of plan.’
He added: ‘Some people are actually interested in people. Some other big stars just sit there waiting for their name to be called.’
His appearance on the daytime show comes after the comedian was spotted enjoying a relaxing dog walk with his husband Jonathan McLeod through north London’s Hampstead on Sunday.
The couple, who married last year, tend to keep their relationship away from the spotlight so this was a rare sighting for them.
They were joined by their black cockapoo named Douglas, who walked faithfully beside them as Jonathan held his lead.

Graham, who usually appears suited and booted for his TV appearances, ditched his signature smart look for a more casual off-duty outfit.
The Graham Norton Show show wore a beige jumper with white stripes across the chest, teamed with a colourful denim and fleece jacket.
He added a pair of blue jeans to the outfit, along with a pair of white trainers. Graham finished the look with a pair of aviator sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Jonathan also opted for a low-key ensemble, wearing a floral print khaki jumper and jacket with jeans and trainers.
Earlier this year, Graham broke his silence on his marriage Jonathan, revealing that he wed the filmmaker in July 2022.
The news took his fans by surprise due to the private nature of their relationship.
But in a new interview he has now lifted the lid on details from their wedding and what it was like to marry later in life.
Graham and Jono tied the knot in Bantry House in Ireland last summer having opted for an Irish wedding to accommodate the former’s mother Rhoda Walker.
The lavish do was held in his native west Cork with 120 guests in attendance with a rumoured performance from music icon Lulu while drag queen Panti Bliss DJed.
Graham has now told The Guardian about the day as he joked that ’till death do us part’ was ‘more achievable’ at the age of 60.
He said: ‘I had a joke in my speech: the vows are much more manageable. ‘Till death do us part’ seems more achievable at our age.
‘If you get married at 23, that’s a big ask. We only have to put up with each other for a couple of decades. And then I’ll be out of here.’
Jonathan ‘Jono’ McLeod is an esteemed Scottish filmmaker and the couple tied the knot in July last year, having met six years previously.
Having drawn together a slew of stars for their glamorous Irish wedding, the couple have remained blissfully happy ever since.
At the time, Graham revealed: ‘I got married this year and we had our wedding party near to where my mother lives in Ireland just so she could come.

‘She wouldn’t have been well enough to come to London so West Cork it was. And it made me very happy.’
Speaking about their marriage, Graham went on: ‘It’s good so far, it would be awful if it wasn’t at this stage, just a few months in, I’d like to think that even I could manage a few months.
‘I’m from that generation of gays who assumed it was never going to be on the cards. So, one, it’s extraordinary that it can happen, I mean, I never gave up hope of finding the one. If it was a surprise, it was a pleasant surprise.’
Jono is a moviemaker, who has been recognised by BAFTA Scotland for his work.
