Mrs Hinch admits to feeling sad on wedding day as she celebrates 5 years of marriage
Mrs Hinch has revealed that she felt "sad" on her wedding day, as she celebrates her fifth anniversary.
The social media star has opened up about her big day in an honest Instagram post.
She explained to her fans that she was met with an overwhelming feeling of "sadness" on her special day.
The 33 year old said that the thought of being given away by her dad and not having the same surname as her parents anymore left her questioning if she was enough.
Writing alongside a stunning wedding photo, Sophie said: "5 years ago today, at this exact time in the morning, I was sat outside the bridal cottage, in the garden, with a cup of tea (mum told me I needed to drink something) but I was hit with a wave of sudden sadness.
"Yep that’s right, I was crying, thinking to myself that in a few short hours, my Dad will “give me away”, that I would no longer share the same surname as my parents, and that I was about to become a lifelong partner, Am I enough?"
She continued to explain: "What if Jamie doesn’t want me in 5 years time and he drives off into the distance, leaving me at home with my clothes and baskets?
"Seriously, when I look back, my thoughts that morning went bloomin' crazy and that was all for nothing because marrying this man is by far the best decision I have ever made in life."
As the post continued, Sophie paid tribute to her husband saying: "I love him more now than I ever have before, and he supports me emotionally like no one else can.
"Happy anniversary Jamie, Thank you for being by my side, for being so kind, patient and not driving off into the distance."
To complete the post, she looked ahead to the future with Jamie as they enter their sixth year of marriage.
Sophie told her fans: "Now it’s time for marriage ‘chapter 6’ let’s see what this one has in store for us. I love you so much."
The emotional post was soon full of supportive comments from her followers.
One wrote: "Happy Anniversary to a beautiful couple inside and out."
With another adding: "This is so lovely. Happy anniversary to you both."
Mrs Hinch was quick to respond to the comments as she added: "Thank you so much, everyone.
"I can’t believe some of you have followed me since my wedding day, I remember updating my stories with a picture of my white ebayer wedding slippers gives me all the feels."
Sophie and Jamie are proud parents to two children, Ronnie, who was born in 2019 and Lennie, who arrived in 2021.
