Sir Rod Stewart has unveiled his new car while proving just how much of a Celtic FC fan he is in his latest Instagram post.

The 78-year-old has his fair share of Hoops memorabilia, from a Celtic-themed drumkit to clothing, but has now gone one step further by designing his garage in tribute to them.

The rockstar unveiled his green and white striped garage which features the team’s name, as he showed off his brand new white LaFerrari following a three-year search.

Rod’s dream car is a rare find currently worth around four to five million pounds, as it’s no longer being made.

In the snap, shared on his Story, he proudly showed off his new motor posing with one hand in his pocket and the other leaning on its roof.

Colour-coordinating with his flashy ride, Rod opted for all white attire which consisted of an opened shirt and converse trainers.

In view of his 1.3 million followers, he wrote: “The conclusion of a three-year search for this work of art. A LaFerrari, in its own Celtic garage.”

According to the official Ferrari website, Rod’s new car “boasts the most extreme performance ever achieved by a Ferrari production car and features the most advanced and innovative technical solutions which will, in the future, filter down to the rest of the Ferrari range.

“The LaFerrari is Ferrari’s first ever production car to be equipped with the F1-derived hybrid solution – the HY-KERS system – which combines an electric motor producing over 150 CV with the most powerful incarnation yet of Ferrari’s classic V12, with 800 CV at 9000 rpm.”

Rod shared the picture on the same day he expressed his excitement at finally being home following many months away.

The singer shared a picture of himself stood outside his mansion as his two dogs sat beside him in matching scarfs.

Rod shares his Essex abode with wife Penny Lancaster and their two sons; Alastair, 17, and Aiden, 12.

Their boys are two of his eight children with five different women.

The singer’s six other kids are; Sarah, 59, Kimberly, 44, Ruby, 36, and Renee, 31, Sean, 42 and Liam, 28.

Over the summer, he spent quality time with his children during his time touring in Spain.

Fans also got to see his doting side as he embraced the company of his two new grandsons Otis and Louie.

Born just three days apart, Rod’s daughter Ruby welcomed the former with her fiancé Jake Kalic on May 9, while Liam and his partner Nicole introduced their first son Louie to the world on the 12th.

The Maggie May hitmaker is also a grandfather to his daughter Kimberly’s 11-year-old daughter Delilah.
