Shetlands Ashley Jensen and Vera star tie the knot in fun ceremony
Ashley Jensen ‘teases’ future series of Shetland
Shetland star Ashley Jensen has reportedly got married to Vera star Kenny Doughty in what is being described as a “super fun and emotional ceremony”.
The 54-year-old is said to have married the fellow actor in front of a close group of family and friends at Priston Mill near Bath, MailOnline reports.
Friends told the publication that the actress “barely stopped smiling all day” and reportedly wore a stunning off-white gown with floral embroidery and coral platform sandals.
Kenny, 48, was dressed in a powder-blue suit and matching suede loafers for the ceremony that took place on 9th August.
A pal told the publication: “The day looked absolutely beautiful. Ashley looked just so, so happy.

“She was smiling and laughing, it was simply idyllic… There appeared to be so much love in that room.”
The couple were joined by Ashley’s son Francis, 14, from her previous marriage to late husband Terence Beesley, who wore a floral tie to match Kenny’s matching one.
Ashley sparked speculation she was engaged after being spotted wearing a ring and attempting to hide her hand while appearing on The Graham Norton Show.
The pair have been photographed together at numerous events and were spotted holding hands while together in Bath in 2021.
