Tess Daly admits she’s ‘in denial’ over changes to her family

Tess Daly has shared rare pictures of her lookalike daughter Phoebe in a sweet birthday tribute on social media.

The 54-year-old took to Instagram to post snaps of her doppelganger daughter and wished her eldest well on her 19th birthday.

The Strictly Come Dancing host shared a photo of the mother-and-daughter duo and Phoebe couldn’t look more like her mum if she tried.

Tess and Phoebe can be seen living it up at an outdoor event as they twin in matching black sunglasses and wave their arms in the air.

In the second picture, the presenter uploaded balloons and birthday decorations, while in the third, a young Phoebe can be seen holding her younger sister Amber, 14, when she was a tot.

Alongside the adorable photos, the proud mum gushed: “I can’t believe my big girl is 19 today! Time flies…

“Thank you Phoebe for being the most wonderful, loving, kind daughter, and the best big sister we could ever wish for. Love you to the moon and back always,” she concluded.

Stacey Dooley commented with three heart-eyes emojis while actress Anna Friel wrote: “Happy Happy Birthday Phoebe,” with a red heart emoji.

Proud dad Vernon Kay, 49, also shared his own birthday tribute for his daughter, with an adorable picture of himself holding Phoebe and Amber when they were little.

He penned: “Happy 19th Phoebe!!! Enjoy… So proud of everything you’ve achieved so far in life.

“Can’t wait for the next big step… (and of course another dance at the rave!),” Vernon joked.

Tess commented: “My loves,” with two red heart emojis.

Vernon and Tess tied the knot in 2003 at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Bolton.
