Demi Moore stuns with agonising photo of daughter Rumer in labour

Demi Moore has posted a moving photo of her daughter Rumer in the agonising throes of labour to celebrate the actress’ 35th birthday.

Rumer, who 60-year-old Demi shares with ex Bruce Willis, welcomed daughter Louetta Isley Thomas Willis in April.

G.I. Jane star Demi’s 4.7 million followers were stunned by the photo, with many taking to the comment section of her post to let Demi know they found it ‘beautiful’.

Demi could be seen grasping Rumer’s hands as she lay with her face creased in agony during her home birth.

Demi, who divorced Bruce in 2000 after marrying him in 1987, also posted a photo of Rumer as a kid and one of them both cosying up to three-month-old Louetta shortly after she was born.

The doting mum captioned her post: ‘My life changed the day you were born.

‘You brought a depth, meaning, and purpose to my existence along with an understanding of love that I had never known.’

Demi added: ‘Now here you are my baby, with your own baby, bringing even greater meaning, magic, and love into all of our lives.

‘So proud of you. Happy Birthday Ru! Happy New Year! Happy Celebration of Life! I Love You!’

Beneath Demi’s carousel of images, one person wrote: ‘That third picture – just wow! So powerful!’

Another person echoed: ‘At first, I thought this was a picture of her just crying maybe because of Bruce but then I realized she’s in labour. I was like wow they are showing such a personal moment but either way it’s very personal. Congratulations.’

Someone else said: ‘I love these pics, especially the one where you are with Rumor during her baby being born and the one with all 3 of you! So priceless and special! Happy Birthday!’

‘That delivery photo speaks volumes. That is motherhood in a nutshell: worry, pain, effort, determination, joy, love, and unyielding steadfast support. Absolutely beautiful,’ wrote another Instagrammer, while someone else simply penned: ‘Beautiful photos.’
