Dundalk’s Mo Chara Pub Unites With New Balance for Charity-Focused Football Kit
Mo Chara is Dundalk’s first tap house, serving locally sourced beer for its Irish community. The pub opened its doors in 2021, lodged inside a historic building motivated by international taprooms.
Mo Chara is celebrating two years in business by uniting with New Balance for an exclusive football kit. The garments take inspiration from the 1990 FIFA World Cup, marking Ireland’s tournament debut while reaching the quarter-finals.
The kit is designed by Grandson Design Studio’s Killian Walsh and nods to Dundalk FC’s 1991 jersey. It features geometrical red and white accents beneath Mo Chara’s interlocked logo and New Balance chest branding. Drinking characters adorn the away jersey, while black collars receive circular details, and Mo Chara lettering hits the numbered rears. Shorts are kept simple with black outlines and embroidered emblems.
All sales proceeds will go to Ireland’s Head in the Game charity promoting mental health awareness in football. Pick up your kit now via the Mo Chara website.
