LABRUM Collaborates With the Tupac Shakur Estate for New FW23 Collection
London-based brand LABRUM has just presented a new partnership with the Shakur Estate to unveil an all-new capsule collection, standing as a heartfelt contribution to Tupac’s influential legacy while celebrating individuals who aspire to make a lasting impact.
Tupac Shakur is an iconic figure who during his time at the forefront of music popularity, fearlessly challenged oppressive systems and championed his community. This same ethos is often encapsulated by LABRUM, who regularly embrace London’s culture and champion the Black British community.
With this in mind, the new collection from LABRUM draws inspiration from Tupac’s ability to transcend the realms of music and film whilst making an indelible mark on the political and societal landscape. Additionally, Tupac’s evocative poem, “The Rose That Grew From Concrete,” serves as additional inspiration, with the garments featuring a slew of rose motifs that symbolize the strength and resilience one garners through self-belief, authenticity, and expression.
Highlights from the collection come in the form of the reimagined Labrum Stamp Tee, while all-new workwear, shirts, cargo pants, hoodies, and T-shirts come alongside traditional Tupac-inspired gilet vests. Rounding off the collection, LABRUM also welcomes an assortment of half-zip tops and the label’s fan-favorite Freetown Tee.
In celebration of the release, LABRUM is set to host a three-day pop-up space at Brixton Village, one of London’s most eclectic markets and a long-time supporter of the brand. The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience the collection firsthand, immerse themselves in the collaboration’s essence, and celebrate the union of two powerful brands.
Be sure to take a look at the new Tupac Shakur collection from LABRUM above and it will be available to shop via the official LABRUM website from November 9. Furthermore, you can attend the forthcoming Tupac x LABRUM pop-up at Brixton Village, London from November 10 through to November 12.
