Phoebe mingled with some of Hollywood’s most elite at the event, as a slew of other stars were in attendance, including Salma Hayek, Christy Turlington, Florence Welch, Olivia Wilde, Zoe Kravitz, Nicole Kidman, Gayle King, Karlie Kloss, and Kim Kardashian, among others.

Phoebe has been making waves in the fashion world recently thanks to her striking looks – turning the streets of New York into her own personal runway.

She was photographed arriving at the Michael Kors fashion show on Sunday in a piercing red number with a plunging neckline.

Phoebe – who attended the event with her mother, Melinda, 59 – completed the look with a chic red handbag and bright gold stilettos.

Melinda opted for a more reserved outfit, wearing a green pencil dress with a matching cardigan and black, heeled clogs.

Phoebe has been very outspoken about her love of fashion over the years, telling WWD that she hopes to make it her full-time career one day.

‘I’ve always been interested in sketching and design and I’m a huge writer,’ she gushed to the outlet.

Last summer, she interned with British Vogue, who sent her to Copenhagen to cover Fashion Week – and the trip further cemented her passion.

She explained, ‘It was super interesting, and it was where I was like, “OK, I want to do a bunch more stuff.”‘

Phoebe is fiercely determined to ‘be her own person’ and has been adamant about wanting to ‘branch away’ from her parents’ success.

‘OK, I’m my parents’ daughter, that gives me immense privilege, but it’s not what I’m defined by,’ she told WWD.

‘I want to have my own identity, I want to be my own person, I want to branch away from that, but how do I do that in a way where I can yield some sort of change?’

Both Bill and Melinda – who split in May 2021 after 27 years of marriage – have continuously insisted that they are working hard to ensure that their kids ‘create their own path.’

In fact, Bill, 67 – who has a whopping net worth of $111 billion – has voiced his fears over his kids becoming ‘distorted’ over ‘wealth’ on numerous occasions, and he once vowed to use his immense fortune to ‘help the poor’ rather than his own children.

Phoebe has also become a budding social media star over the years, racking up more than 312,000 followers on Instagram and 77,000 followers on TikTok for often sharing an inside look into the many perks that come with being the daughter of one of the richest men in the world.

Lavish life: The now-20-year-old is quite the jet-setter, and has traveled to places like Peru (left), Mexico (center), and London (right) recently

She shares snaps of herself posing in designer clothes, attending elite parties, soaking up the sun on the beach, dining in fancy restaurants, and jetting off to places like Peru, Mexico, London, Paris, Copenhagen and New York.

She’s also posted a few clips of her billionaire Microsoft founder father being a normal dad – which gained millions of views.

But she also uses her platform to discuss political topics like women’s rights and abortion.

Phoebe previously reflected on her online attention to The Information, and she explained that while she knows most people come to her page because they want a glimpse into her family, she thinks they ‘stick around’ for her other content.

‘I’m pretty realistic that people start following me because of my family name. And people probably find it funny to see my dad being a goof,’ she stated.

‘But once they follow me, they stick around, and I think some of that is because of the issues that I post about, like women’s health.

‘I like to bring audiences along to the events I go to, my life at college, what’s front of mind for me, that kind of stuff.’

She added that she hopes being so open on social media will end any ‘misconceptions’ people may have about her and her family.

‘People have a lot of preconceptions about me, so TikTok has been a chance for me to tell my own story and also use the attention my family name might bring to spotlight issues that are important to me, like women’s health and sustainable fashion,’ she continued.

As for what her parents think about her online presence, Phoebe said that Melinda is ‘supportive and curious,’ while her dad is less interested.

‘[My mom] gets that social is a space that young people need to own and shape. My dad publishes a lot on social, but he doesn’t follow it much himself,’ she revealed.
