While no official figures have been released for 2023, it is widely believed that both Tess Daly, 54 and Claudia Winkleman, 51 earn around £150,000 for each series of Strictly that they host.
Last year, Claudia, who previously hosted Strictly: It Takes Two, was believed to be the highest paid woman on the BBC, with her income estimated to be around £1million in total!

How much do the Strictly celebrities get paid?
One of the most closely guarded secrets in the world of Strictly, is how much each of the celebrities are paid in order to compete, with the BBC taking great care never to divulge a specific amount to fans.
However, reports have suggested that each star is paid a flat fee of around £25,000 with their earnings steadily increasing as they progress through the competition.
This means that if the stars can survive their first few weeks, they could be foxtrotting their way to a healthy paycheque of £40,000, before jiving their way to the quarter-finals where a formidable £60,000 awaits!
And if that wasn’t incentive enough, finalists in the competition are believed to take home around £75,000 with the ultimate winner dancing all the way to the bank with £100,000 in prize money, alongside the coveted glitter ball trophy!
How much do Strictly’s professional dancers earn?
Over the years, many professional dancers have graced our screens on Strictly, with the lineup always ensuring that the best and brightest dance talent has the chance to shine and earn their shot at winning the coveted glitter ball trophy.
As with the contestants, the actual wages paid are still a closely guarded secret, but some of the show’s most popular and enduring dancers, such as Gorka Marquez, Graziano di Prima and Vito Coppola are believed to be paid a flat rate of anywhere between £35,000 and £50,000 depending on their experience.
However, it isn’t just the main Strictly show that can help them earn some extra cash, as participation in Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals tour, also comes with an additional wage too!
And if that wasn’t all, being in the primetime spotlight on Strictly, several professional dancers have also been able to secure other brand deals and partnerships outside of the show, thanks to their newfound stardom, which offers yet another revenue stream to keep their bank accounts looking healthy!
How much do the Strictly Come Dancing judges get paid?
Strictly Come Dancing would be nothing without it’s expert panel of judges to critique and encourage our favourite stars week after week.
Renowned for their wealth of technical knowledge and prolific careers in the dance industry, between all four judges they have over a century of dance experience and expertise, meaning they are well rewarded for contributing their unique insight into each performance.
The highest earning star of the bunch is Shirley Ballas, 63, who first joined the Strictly judging panel back in 2017 with a salary of around £180,000 per series.
However, year on year that sum appears to have increased, with The Sun now reporting she earns a whopping £500,000 per series after successfully negotiating a pay rise.
By contrast, Craig Revel-Horwood, 58, is thought to take home around £400,000 per series, although he also earns an extra £200,000 a year for directing the Strictly live tour since 2012.
Motsi Mabuse, 42, also earns an impressive sum for her work on the show, having joined the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel in 2019, after Darcy Bussell left the show.
Her starting salary was estimated to be around £200,000, and is thought to have increased year on year ever since.
The final judge that fans often remain curious about, is Anton Du Beke, 57, who was the longest-serving professional dancer on Strictly up until his promotion to the judging panel in 2021.
As a Strictly pro Anton was previously paid around £65,000 per series, but it's believed he made between £175,000 and £200,000 for his role as a judge this year!
