Nicole Scherzingers new pumpkin spice hair colour is taking fans back to her Eden Crush days
If you've been a Nicole Scherzinger follower for a while, you'll know the star originally found fame in a girl group called Eden's Crush. The group of four was formed in late 2000 and came out with some hits like Get Over Yourself. After disbanding in 2002, Nicole went on to mega-stardom in The Pussycat Dolls and then as an X Factor judge.
Now, it seems like she's transporting us back to the noughties with a beauty transformation inspired by a look she wore in her early girl band days: a warm copper.
"Tonight's 2000s look for @maskedsingerfox is giving y2k hunnyyy," she captions the carousel of selfies.
Nicole, 45, looks incredible in the snaps as she poses with the autumnal hair colour that experts are calling a 'pumpkin spice' copper due to its spicy tone. We also love how she's really getting into the 2000s spirit with cute space bun twists.
Fans are loving her new look, with many taking to the comment section to say that the singer hasn't visually aged a day since 2002.
"Kim, Anitta or J-Lo?" asks one, while a second writes: "It’s giving Eden’s Crush!"
"I love the red streaks looks so good," another pens.
As we say, hair experts have given a particularly autumnal name to this shade: ‘pumpkin spice hair’, in honour of our favourite drink of the season.
“Pumpkin spice hair colour is an earthy shade of copper, based on undertones of caramel chestnut and cinnamon,” says hairstylist and trend forecaster Tom Smith. “While every copper shade possesses an element of orange, the subtle duskiness of this shade keeps it sophisticated and avoids looking artificial.”
Other celebrities like Jessie J and Chloe Ferry have swapped their usual hair colours for warm copper tones this season, so we wonder who will go for a PSL colour next!
