If so, you could be quids in if you've got one very specific coin hiding in your pocket. It's no secret the Kew Gardens 50p coin is one of the most desirable out there.
Only 210,000 of these coins ever made it into circulation since its release date back in 2009. It features the famous Chinese Pagoda at the famous London landmark.

Millions of Brits are always eager to get their claws on the change. Often you'll find sellers making an absolute fortune from flogging them on eBay.
Now after racking up over 23 bids, the eBay user managed to sell their Kew Gardens 50p coin for £160, a whopping 320 times its face value. The bidding war ended on October 8 with a lot of attention from buyers.
It all started at 99p before shooting up to £92 after just one day of bidding. It didn't take long for the coin to reach the hundreds with a total price of £160 after 10 days of interest online.
According to the seller's description, the rare 100% genuine 2009 Kew Gardens 50p coin came in excellent circulated condition. In the post, they wrote: "Only 210,000 genuine ones have ever been minted.
"I have had this coin for several years and comes from my own private collection. Very sought after for any coin collector. Very Low Starting Price With NO RESERVE."

The eBay seller promised the coin would be sent out in a "very securely package" with full insurance via Royal Mail's next day special delivery postage service.
These coins are worth a lot of money and it's not the first time we've seen it flog for an absolute fortune on the selling website.
Previously, we saw the same exact coin go for a few hundreds on eBay. The coin collector kicked off the bidding war with a starting price of £50, before it shot up to £110 in two days.
A total of 11 users put on 20 bids before the coin eventually sold for £188.25 on September 13. It lasted a whopping 7 days for eBay bidders to fight over the sought-after coin.
