Shoppers are rushing to Wilko to snap up the perfect home decor essential that has been slashed to 30p | The Sun

IF you want to spruce up your home, you may wish to pop to Wilko.

Shoppers have been rushing to stock up on their fake flowers which have been discounted to just 30p.

A bargain hunter uploaded a photo of the gorgeous bunch of faux peonies they bought and put in a vase on their table.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, they wrote: “Artificial peony bunches 30p at Wilko.”

The peonies were in a 40 per cent off sale, and could be the perfect way to add a splash of colour to your dining area or lounge.

And better yet, you don’t have to worry about killing them or watering them as they aren’t real.

Wilko is to shut the doors of its last remaining stores on Sunday October 8 as the collapse of the historic retailer comes to a close.

The hardware and furnishings retailer tumbled into administration last month after it came under pressure from weak consumer spending and debts to suppliers.

The retailer will shut its final 111 stores in early October as part of the final phase of closures, administrators for PwC said.
