We swapped sexy Halloween outfits for Shrek characters – everyone loved them
Halloween is thought to be the spookiest time of year but many women use the opportunity to dress up as a naughty bunny or a sexy devil.
While choosing a costume – whether it be silly, scary or sexy – is a personal choice, this bunch of women have been praised for their 'iconic' outfits.
The pals decided to go down the authentic Halloween route by dressing up as characters from Shrek – including the green farting ogre and his noble steed, Donkey. And they have now gone viral for doing so.

In a TikTok clip, posted by @reeserachell, the women lip synced an audio from classic teenage film 'Mean Girls'. The scene involves Lindsay Lohan's character Cady going to a Halloween bash as a scary bride – when her classmates dressed sexy.
"In girl world, Halloween is the one night of of the year where a girl can dress like a total sl** and no other girls can say anything about it," the audio said while the women revealed their Shrek costumes.
"The hardcore girls just wear lingerie and some form of animal ears. No one told me about the sl** rule so I turned up like this."
From a green face painted version of Shrek and an equally green Fiona to a Lord Farquaad, the women really made the effort in the video that has now racked up over 600,000 views.
Impressed with the Shrek-themed costumes, many people fled to the comments to praise the women for their dedication to dressing up for Halloween.
"Why do people not understand that Halloween is SCARY?" one person urged. "It’s not Mardi Gras." Another added: "This is ICONIC ladies."
While a third expressed: "I want to be in this friend group." Someone else shared: "Need my friends to do this real bad." Meanwhile, a fifth praised: "You guys absolutely smashed it."
