Daisy May Cooper saw ghost who was pair of legs in PE shorts running on bed

Daisy May Cooper fears her home is being haunted by a ghost that wears PE shorts.

The TV star, 37, has been terrorised by eerie goings-on since she moved into her pad in the Cotswolds. A late-night incident in her bedroom really put the willies up her. She said: “This is really strange, but I was in my house, which is brand new, and it’s near a lake…

“I woke up at about three o’clock in the morning and I had my two-year-old son in the bed. We both woke up and saw just a pair of legs in what looked like PE shorts, just running around the bed. And then it was gone.

“It was just a few seconds and we both watched it kind of run around the bed. It was a pair of legs, just before the hips. What sort of apparition just comes as legs? Mental.”

This Country star Daisy has been interested in paranormal activity for years. When she was at school, she used to make up ghost stories to cause trouble Speaking on The Adam Buxton Podcast, she said: “The patron of the primary school was a Victorian called Rebecca Powell. And I made up that she had died and her ghost was taking over me and I needed an exorcism because I had been possessed.

So I would convulse in classrooms. We were doing Ouija boards, and it got to the point where teachers had to address it with parents because kids were too scared to come into school. I said I saw some chairs unstack themselves in assembly, which was complete bollocks. I didn’t want to sit through hymns and praise and all that stuff.”
