The main cast of Friends have paid tribute to Matthew Perry following his sudden death.
The actor, best known for playing Chandler Bing, died at the age of 54 at the weekend. Reports claimed he was found drowning at his home in Los Angeles.
Matthew found fame on the iconic '90s sitcom alongside Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow. And now his fellow Friends cast mates have broken their silence.

In a joint statement to People, the actors called Matthew "family" and said they are "utterly devastated." They also said they will "say more in time."
The statement read: "“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.
“There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” they continued. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

It comes after first responders have claimed Matthew was found underwater in his hot tub by his assistant, who lifted his head to get air in his lungs. The Los Angeles Fire Department released a statement that the actor was found underwater in his jacuzzi but was "repositioned" by his assistant when they arrived at his Pacific Palisades home on Saturday (October 28).
Despite their best efforts, a spokesperson for the LAFD told the Los Angeles Times that the Friends star was already deceased upon arrival. They told the publication: "An adult male patient was deceased prior to first response arrival. The patient was found by a bystander who had re-positioned the victim where the head was out of water.
"Firefighters pulled the victim out of the jacuzzi and did a quick medical assessment to find he was deceased." The reported bystander is understood to be Matthew's assistant, who is thought to have been the one who found him, according to reports.
