90s teen TV legend unrecognisable as terrifying bearded kidnapper thirty years after smash hit show | The Sun
WITH his dark hair and sinister stare, it's hard to believe that man was once a blonde floppy haired teen heartthrob.
But if you look carefully, you will see that this bearded man is in factMark-Paul Gosselaar AKA Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell.
The star, who turns 50 next year, is currently starring in the new NBC series Found.
In the gritty series he plays a kidnapper called Sir who is being held captive by a woman he abducted when she was a child.
Famous for his flopping blonde hair and all american good looks, for this sinister role Mark-Paul took on a completely new look.
In a new interview with ComicBook, the 90s star described Sir as a "disgusting, grotesque…a really despicable character".

However, when asked whether its the darkest character he's ever played, he shocked fans with his reply, by saying:"I think it belongs to Zack Morris."
Mark-Paul added: "I think I was bred to play roles like Sir just because I started my career playing one of the most nefarious characters on television."
Saved By The Bell, which ran for 86 episodes, was a huge hit around the world, being shown in the mornings during UK school holidays in the 90s and gaining a huge following.
First airing in 1989 it featured Mark-Paul as Zack, Mario Lopez as AC Slater and Dustin Diamond as Screech Powers.

The trio were matched by three girls – Tiffani Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski, Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano and Lark Voorhies' Lisa Turtle.
Mark-Paul told People that during his time on the show he dated all three of his female co-stars at different times.
In 1996 he married model and actress Lisa Ann Russell, who had appeared in an episode of Saved by the Bell: The College Years three years earlier.
They had children Michael, 19, and Ava, 16, but split in 2010. He later married Catriona McGinn and had another two children – son Dekker, nine, and daughter Lachlyn, eight.
Mark-Paul reprised the role of Zack in the 2020 reboot of Saved By The Bell, revealing that Zack had risen to become Governor of California.
Married to childhood sweetheart Kelly, their son Mac was a child at Bayside High.
However, after running for two series the show was cancelled by US telly network NBC's Peacock streaming service in 2022.
