Deal Or No Deal viewers were unimpressed at a string of sausage puns after a contestant said she worked with the meat, with one calling host Stephen Mulhern "childish".
Wednesday's (29 November) episode of the ITV quiz show featured contestant Alicia, who shared that she worked in a sausage factory. Stephen was clearly tickled, teasingly asking the game show hopeful: "So how many sausages do you get in your hands a day?"
There was also a cheeky joke about "stuffing". The puns amused a lot of fans, but others posted messages on social media saying it was a bit much.

"What's so funny?" one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "She works in a sausage factory. So? Ah, yes. Of course. Childish humour. Hilarious."
Someone else said it was “a lot of sausage talk”. Another viewer posted on X: “Audience are laughing as though she said she works in a penis factory…”
When Stephen asked Alicia if she could name types of sausages, one person posted: “It's taken to naming f****** sausages to improve this drivel.” "Banker, will you please shut the f*** up with the sausage jokes!" said another unimpressed fan.
The game show was rebooted earlier this month after several years off screen, with Stephen hosting instead of TV legend Noel Edmonds. So far fans have given it the thumbs up, with people praising Stephen's light-hearted hosting style.
"Stephen is so cheeky, I love him," one said after the latest episode aired. In a nod to the presenter's Saturday Night Takeaway co-star, one joked: "Is it me or is Stephen Mulhern turning into Ant?"
However, another viewer sniped: "Don’t like the new #DealOrNoDeal, the prize money is less, the contestants are really weird and spiritual. And Stephen Mulhern is just an annoying big kid who thinks he’s funny."
