Im A Celebrity joins forces with The Masked Singer for one-off special

New I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! trailer

The Masked Singer is getting a jungle makeover next Sunday in celebration of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

While the celebrities may not be facing traditional Bushtucker Trials, they will be going head-to-head while dressed in utterly bizarre outfits.

As they take to the stage, ITV viewers and the judges attempt to guess who is hiding behind the mask.

A spokesperson for the special said: “Before the famous cast can scream, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, the panel will attempt to guess who could be masquerading in costumes which include a huntsman, wombat, dunny and bearded dragon.”

Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan will be back on the judging panel while Joel Dommett returns to host the extravaganza.

The official line-up is yet to be confirmed by ITV bosses.

An ITV spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are just speculation. We’ll announce our lineup in due course.”

According to the bookmaker Coral, Josie is the favourite to win the ITV series as it stands.

“This Morning presenter Josie Gibson is the early favourite in our betting to be crowned the Queen of the Jungle this year in what looks set to be a fascinating series, with some big names set to feature Down Under,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Frankie Dettori has hit the bookies hard throughout his career in the saddle and he is proving popular again to triumph, this time in the jungle,” he added.

The Masked Singer’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! special airs on Sunday at 7.30pm.
