I'M A Celebrity star Sam Thompson's girlfriend has broken her silence after fans accused Tony Bellow of being "rude" to him.

Last night Sam, 31, Tony, 40, and Marvin Humes volunteered to spend the night in the I'm a Celeb Misery Motel.

While Sam was over-the-moon to be teaming up with Tony, fans instantly claimed the boxer's patience with the Made in Chelsea star was wearing thin.

And, after Sam was nominated as Camp Leader, supportive Zara, 26, took to Instagram to praise her man.

She wrote: "CAMP LEADER how do you think this is going to go? Ps he will be so so grateful for your votes thank you on behalf #teamSam."

Rushing to comment, one follower replied: "So so happy! I don't like the way Tony talks about him though."

But Zara replied and made a reference to Sam's friendship with Pete Wicks.

She said: "Honestly, Tony can do no wrong in Sam's eyes. Plus he's far more polite than @p_wicks."

Last night fans saw Sam jump on Tony when he realised they would be doing the task together, but one wrote on social media: "Tony Bellew secretly hates Sam."

Another said: "You can tell Tony is getting fed up."

Even EastEnders star and fellow campmate Danielle Harold was thinking along the same lines.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, she said: "Tony stepped up and then Sam jumped on because he’s obsessed with Tony. Tony’s face sort of dropped a little bit when Sam volunteered."
