The Chase star astounds fans as she takes £0 offer for the team
Betty takes the low offer of £0
The Chase fans were appalled during Tuesday’s episode when player Betty opted to take the £0 offer from Chaser Paul “Sinnerman” Sinha. Following a cash builder in which she achieved £3,000, Paul decided to make her next decision tricky.
Despite the previous two players only earning an extra £1,000 each, the team advised her to take Paul’s low offer – £0. Betty told host Bradley Walsh she would be going with the offer to best ensure she could get back to her team.
“Let’s put some money on the table… low offer please,” host Bradley Walsh requested.
“Nothing,” Paul shot back, to which Bradley replied: “Great, perfect… High offer, please.”
“£52,000,” Paul announced loudly. Bradley urged Betty to confer with her teammates.

“Gary, what do you reckon?” the presenter asked.
“Zero’s not a lot different to two,” the player replied. “And getting an extra life in the Final Chase…”
“Absolutely sound advice, that,” Bradley commented before asking Lucie for her thoughts.
“We’re a team – we want you back, if you want to take the zero you take it.”

Sam then chimed: “The difference between two and zero’s not much.”
Betty eventually decided: “If all four of us get back, that’s only £500 each difference [with the zero offer].
“And we’re a team… so I’m going to take the zero.”
“Good for you,” Bradley responded, with Paul adding: “I think that’s the sensible one.”
However, fans watching from home weren’t impressed by the decision.
