Madonna confirms rescheduled Celebration tour dates after scary ICU dash
Madonna celebrates 40th anniversary of her first album
The 64-year-old had reassured fans that she would be arranging the rescheduled shows once she was well enough, with her four New York shows seemingly first for a set of new dates.
Madonna was originally set to perform at Madison Square Garden next week with shows on August 23, 24, 26 and 27.
The first three dates have now been rescheduled for January 22, 23 and 29 of next year with the August 27 show being outright cancelled.
Tickets for the August shows are still valid for their new respective dates and will reportedly not need to be changed.

Madonna’s Celebrations tour was supposed to begin in Vancouver, Canada on July 15 and end in Mexico on January next year.
However, when the singer contracted a devastating bacterial infection she was forced to postpone the North American leg and will now be starting the celebration in London on October 14.
While Madonna’s North American fans have been awaiting news of the rescheduled dates, the rest of the tour will seemingly continue as planned which could lead to a jam-packed January for the Like A Virgin singer.

Due to some scheduling conflicts, a few shows have been confirmed as canceled as The Independent reported including: Nashville Bridgestone Arena on December 22, San Francisco Chase Center on January 15, Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena on January 18 and Phoenix Footprint Center on January 20th.
The news comes as the singer continues her recovery from a near life-threatening health scare in late June after the 64-year-old had reportedly spent months in grueling rehearsals for 12 hours each day in preparation for her tour.
The Vogue singer was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York hospital where she was diagnosed with a serious bacterial infection and battled septic shock.
While her family was reportedly “preparing for the worst”, the singer’s manager Guy Oseary assured fans at the time that she was expected to make a “full recovery”.
