Billie Eilish powers through 'anxiety attack' to help distressed fans mid-show

Billie Eilish gave fans a real treat with a surprise show in London tonight.

It didn’t go without a hitch, though, as the US star took on the new role of ‘security for the night’, rushing to help distressed fans in the packed venue.

Meanwhile, Billie, 21, was fighting off an anxiety attack of her own, but was still keen to help fans out by giving them water and halting the songs until everyone was ok.

The Bad Guy hitmaker sent everyone into a spin at the end of last week when she confirmed an intimate gig at Camden’s Electric Ballroom on Tuesday (August 29).

She wrote on her Instagram Story: ‘Londonnnnn!! Doing a special lil performance for yooou. If you signed up for email alerts at my pop up this week, you’ll get an email with a unique code to access tickets.’

With a capacity of just 1,500, only a select group of lucky fans could be there, which is quite the contrast to the chaos of her Reading and Leeds performances at the festivals over the weekend.

Of course, given that the capacity for tonight’s show was so small, it left countless fans envious that they weren’t able to attend.

One fan tweeted: ‘can’t believe billie eilish just did a surprise show in camden with one day notice. how dare she’.

‘Everyone who is seeing Billie Eilish in a small London venue tonight is so lucky’, another said.

Another wrote: ‘just thinking about how on a random Tuesday billie eilish puts one of her best performance in london and i couldn’t be there’.
