Breitling Introduces Two Smaller Case Sizes for the Navitimer

Breitling has made its iconic Navitimer model available in two new case sizes: 32mm and 36mm. Previously only offered in 41mm and above case diameters, the newly-revealed sizes now extend the timepiece’s appeal for collectors who prefer a more compact look or those with smaller wrists.

The all-new 36mm Navitimer Automatic watches are spotlighted with beaded bezels and a stylized circular slide rule that accounts for the model’s iconic silhouette. Offering in three metallic dials, spanning mint green, silver, and anthracite, all available in a seven-row steel bracelet or alligator leather straps.

The 36mm-sized reference also comes in two mother-of-pearl dial variations that are set with lab-grown and round-cut “better diamonds.” One version features a steel build with an 18k red gold bezel, while the other is attired in a full 18k red gold composition. Both versions are accompanied by either a two-tone metal bracelet or a brown alligator strap. As for movement, the Navitimer 36 runs on the in-house and COSC-certified caliber 17, complete with 38 hours of power reserve.

Likewise, the 32mm Navitimer series also features the mother-of-pearl dials set with diamonds. In addition, the full stainless versions offer three mother-of-pearl dial options, from pink, and white to light blue. All versions and colorways run on the Breitling Caliber 77, a thermo-compensated SuperQuartz™ with a battery life of around three to four years.

All the diamonds and gold used for the aforementioned models are part of Breitling’s “better” program and are sourced from traceable, artisanal, small-scale mines and labs to reduce environmental impact. With a price range of $4,300 – $33,000 USD, the assortment of Navitime timepieces is currently available at Breitling’s official website.
