Ben & Jerry’s brings back TWO popular Christmas flavours and fans say ‘I can’t believe they ever took one away’ | The Sun

BEN AND Jerry's has brought back two popular Christmas flavours and fans can't get enough of them.

The US-founded ice cream company is known for selling all types of varieties, from Chocolate Fudge Brownie to Cookie Dough.

But two of its classic and popular flavours have made a comeback to customer fanfare.

The company has reintroduced its Minter Wonderland and Baked Alaska tubs to the UK market.

Shoppers looking to pick up the varieties can bag them at a number of retailers including Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons.

News of the returning flavours was recently posted on the UKnewestfoods Instagram page.

The post has since notched up over 1,600 likes and plenty of comments from shoppers keen to snap them up.

One said: "I can't believe they even took Baked Alaska away!

"Hope it's here to stay now."

A second shopper couldn't contain their excitement, writing: "Yeeeeeeeah been waiting for these to be back foreeeever."

A third simply said: "It's back!"

We have asked Ben and Jerry's when the two flavours were last available to buy and whether they are a permanent addition and will update this story when we have heard back.

The Baked Alaska tub combines vanilla ice cream with marshmallow swirls and white chocolate polar bears, coming in at 1,027 calories.

Meanwhile, the Minter Wonderland flavour mixes mint ice cream and chocolate chunks. A whole tub comes in at 1,078 calories.

The cheapest supermarket to pick up the Baked Alaska flavour is Morrisons which is selling it for £3.75.

Tesco and Sainsbury's are both selling it for £5.15 but loyalty scheme customers can get it for less.

Those with a Tesco Clubcard can get it for £3.75 while Sainsbury's Nectar Card price is £3.40.

The cheapest spot for the Minter Wonderland flavour is Asda where it's £5, then Tesco which is selling it online for £5.15, or £3.75 for Clubcard customers.

Sainsbury's is selling the tub for £5.15 or £3.75 if you've got a Nectar Card.

It's not the first time in recent months returning items have had shoppers buzzing.

B&M was stocking the popular Hannah's choc lover box on shelves in August, with one shopper saying "bit of me this".
