MAFS Brad Skellys life off screen and where viewers recognise him from
Married At First Sight UK is back on our TV screens and this year's series is already proving to be filled with drama with plenty still to come.
Eight brides and eight grooms star in the new series, which began airing on E4 on 18 September, and while some seem to have met their match at the altar others haven't been so impressed with the love experts' matchmaking skills.
One groom who was visibly happy when he saw his wife-to-be was Brad Skelly, 27, whose wedding to Shona Manderson aired on Monday 25 September, with the pair hitting it off from the get go.
However, this isn't Brad's first time searching for love on TV. Let's take a look into the model's life…
27 year old Brad hails from Grimsby and is a model. He's starred in campaigns for fashion brands including ASOS and JD Sports.
Brad also describes himself as a 'meditation teacher', after turning to spirituality over recent years. In a video for MAFS, he said he hoped his future wife would be "open to spirituality" as it pulled him out of a "very dark place".
He has told how he believes you only fall in love three times in life, before adding: "I trust the experts with all my heart that they have matched me well."
Viewers may also recognise Brad from his brief stint on Celebs Go Dating. He dated Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby on the TV show back in 2016, but their romance failed to blossom into anything serious.
Brad is also father to a nine year old son named Keegan, who he shares with an ex-girlfriend. The dad-of-one's son featured in an episode of MAFS, which aired on 25 September.
Brad shared a tribute to his son on his ninth birthday on 26 September and shared a photo of them together to his Instagram Stories.
He penned: "Happy 9th birthday to the reason I push on Keegan Skelly. You are my world son and you make me proud every single," with a heart emoji.
After Brad and Shona's wedding aired, viewers were quick to brand them "perfect" as they noticed the pair had "instant chemistry" after meeting each other at the altar.
When the brunette beauty walked down the aisle and caught the first glimpse of her hubby-to-be, she immediately squealed in delight. As they exchanged vows and enjoyed their first moments as husband and wife, their instant connection didn't go unnoticed by fans.
One viewer took to X, formally known as Twitter and wrote: "Shona and Brad are perfect my gosh," and a second commented: "Shona and Brad are such a good match".
"Shona and Brad have strong chemistry", gushed a third.
However, Brad has hinted at things not being plain-sailing for him and Shona on the E4 show. Speaking ahead of the series launch, he told how the show "tests you in so many different ways".
The groom said: "I don't regret anything because I think you acted in a way at that time. But it definitely tests you in so many different ways. It pushes your buttons and sometimes it can overwhelm you and you can feel stressed."
