Coronation Street hit with Ofcom complaints after intimate Paul Foreman scenes
Coronation Street: Paul struggles to lift his wine glass
Coronation Street has suffered a blow after being hit with a string of Ofcom complaints.
It comes after intimate scenes surrounding Paul Foreman (played by Peter Ash) and his new husband Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) aired on the ITV soap.
The newlyweds have been having a tough time recently, especially surrounding their sex life.
Paul’s MND condition is getting worse as viewers have witnessed him now become mostly wheelchair-bound, with Billy having issues with erectile dysfunction.
As their sex life seemed to be non-existent for a while, they managed to get over their dry spell last week as they were seen semi-naked on the sofa.

Although the intimate moment wasn’t aired, the aftermath was shown as they joked about their bedroom antics.
As Paul joked that Billy never used his muscles, his husband replied: “You weren’t saying that 10 minutes ago.”
However, it looks as though the steamy scenes didn’t go down well with some fans as many took to Ofcom to complain.
The broadcasting regulator confirmed on Wednesday it had 52 complaints about the episode last week.
