Holly Willoughbys ITV co-star frontrunner for This Morning replacement
Holly Willoughby quits ITV’s This Morning after 14 years
According to William Hill’s latest odds, Alison Hammond is tipped to replace Holly Willoughby as a permanent presenter on This Morning.
Earlier this year, Holly confirmed she was leaving the ITV programme in what she described as a “difficult decision”.
Ever since, the show has seen a number of guest presenters holding the fort including the likes of Alison, Dermot O’Leary, Josie Gibson, and Craig Doyle.
The bookmakers have changed their predictions over the last few months, but one name that has been consistent among the odds is Alison.
The mum-of-one currently regularly presents the Friday slot on This Morning with Dermot.

Alison has been given strong odds of 2/1 of taking over as the main presenter.
Channel 5 host Storm Huntley is close behind her with odds of 4/1, with Hannah Waddingham in third place.
Other names thrown into the mix are Josie, Rochelle Humes, and former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall.
Despite the predictions, ITV has not yet confirmed whether Holly will be replaced by a permanent presenter or whether they will continue to invite guest hosts onto the show.

More recently, Rylan Clark thrilled fans as he made his epic return to the sofa.
As he stood alongside Josie, Rylan said: “Good morning and welcome to Monday’s This Morning.”
Josie added: “And a big big big welcome back to you Rylan, welcome home!”
“It is so nice to see everyone,” Rylan teased as he joked: “I mean I didn’t really go anywhere I was just hiding the cupboard, just downstairs!
“Gyles Brandreth found me last night and said ‘Come on’. I went ‘Oh alright I’ll come back’.”
Next week, Cat Deeley will be joining the This Morning team as she makes her debut.
The presenter is set to co-host the show along with the likes of Rylan, Craig, and Alison.
According to The Sun, the 47-year-old will work alongside Rylan Clark for her first instalment.
A source told the publication: “Cat is a seasoned pro and execs have been keen to get her in for a while.
“She takes live TV in her stride and is really witty and personable with guests. She is comfortable interviewing both pop stars and politicians, so if it goes well she could be a much more permanent solution to Holly leaving.
“Cat would be safe captain to steady the ship.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
