Mike Tindall lands TV series in career U-turn after Im A Celebrity success
Former professional rugby player Mike Tindall is slated to feature in ITV's recently commissioned show Grand Slammers, where England's rugby world cup champions delve into the world of sport within correctional facilities.
The royal family member will be joining the series’ lineup with captain Martin Johnson, Jonny Wilkinson, Lawrence Dallaglio, Phil Vickery, Jason Robinson, Will Greenwood, Ben Cohen, and Matt Dawson who have all savoured the pinnacle of their country's rugby success by hoisting the William Webb Ellis trophy.
These individuals, who played an indelible role in England's sports history, are now set to reunite after two decades, marking 20 years since their memorable triumph in the Sydney final against Australia.

As part of a distinctive challenge, the team will be stepping behind bars for the first time, in a fresh two-part series set to coincide with this year's Rugby World Cup.
Mike will join his fellow sport champions who will go to HMP The Mount, where they will find one of the last existing rugby pitches within an adult male English prison.
In that setting, their goal will be to construct and train a team of incarcerated individuals with the strength to challenge Australian opponents.
ITV characterised Grand Slammers as providing a vibrant understanding of how sports can transform lives.
England's iconic figures will reportedly candidly share with inmates how rugby profoundly influenced them during their developmental years, imparting them with a life purpose.
The series’ official summary states: "The legends experience clashes, confrontations as well as offering encouragement about how the sport could make a difference for each inmate, as they show their charges the spirit of rugby and its broad appeal with all the camaraderie, intensity, emotion, buzz and laughter that comes with being part of a team focused on a common goal, beating the Aussies."
The show will feature episodes where the rugby renowned figures will be seen joining forces with the inmates they've coached to reenact the momentous Rugby World Cup final from two decades ago.
However, this time, they will face off against a squad of former Australian rugby players.
Kate Teckman, Head of Development, Factual Entertainment, said: "For some of these England legends, rugby presented a positive pathway and an opportunity to fulfil their potential.
"So, with re-offending rates from ex-prisoners at an alarming level, these World Cup winners are engaging with young men who've made big mistakes to show them how the game they love can offer the possibility of taking positive steps to move forward.”
Grand Slammers is set to be broadcasted on ITV later in the current year.
