Fans of ITV's Tipping Point were left blown away by a player with "excellent manners", however thing quickly changed when he got a question wrong.
Tipping Point contestant Shaun appeared on the hit quizzing show on Friday (September 15) and became an instant hit with viewers, but it wasn't because of his quizzing knowledge.
They were mostly blown away by Shaun's charming persona and his polite manner when speaking to host Ben Shephard.

Loving Shaun's politeness, fans headed straight to X, formerly known as Twitter to compliment him.
One impressed viewer said: "I want Shaun to win as he’s been the most polite contestant they’ve had on."
Another penned: "Bit late watching today, but what a lovely bloke Shaun seems. Good luck to him."
A third chimed: "Shaun has excellent manners."
While a fourth added: "He's so nice and polite, I hope he wins."
But despite having viewers behind him, Shaun received backlash when he got a seemingly simple history question wrong.
After beating his contestants and sailing through to the final round, Ben asked the player: "Who succeeded Henry VIII as King of England and Ireland in 1547?"
Admitting to "struggling" after being presented with the options George VI, James VI and Edward VI, Shaun decided to go for George VI.
But the right answer was Edward VI.
Ben reassured the player and said: "Not to worry, you can still do this!"
However unimpressed spectators headed back to social media to complain, with one fan writing: "Nice bloke but George VI succeeding Henry VIII doesn't deserve to get the jackpot."

Another fumed: "George the f*****g 6th? The last queens father? Where do they get these people?"
Meanwhile a third echoed: "My God, I thought he'd know Edward VI."
Despite the harsh critics online, Shaun answered his other questions with ease and also managed to gain fair amount of counters from the machine.
With the counters falling, Shaun hoped to get the jackpot counter which is worth and incredible £10,000.
But it wasn't to be and Shaun decided to leave the show with an impressive £3,400.
Tipping Point airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 4pm
