BBC host Chris Packham sparks fury by claiming Just Stop Oil are right to break law – and one day blow up oil refineries | The Sun

BBC host Chris Packham has sparked fury by claiming Just Stop Oil are right to break the law — and warning blowing up an oil refinery is on the horizon.

The wildlife campaigner, 62, said in his youth he would have no doubt joined the group behind disruptive road blocks and sport arena invasions.

He told the Radio Times: “The Suffragettes set fire to things . . . attacked people.

The presenter, who has made documentary Chris Packham: Is It Time to Break the Law? for Channel 4, added: “At the moment, no one is blowing up an oil refinery, but a lot of people think that is very likely to happen.”
